High Density and Uniform Plant Distribution Improve Soybean Yield by Regulating Population Uniformity and Canopy Light Interception

Optimizing the spatial distribution of plants under normal conditions water and fertilizer is widely used by farmers to improve soybean yield. However, relationship between yield plant in field has not been well studied. This study examined effect planting density pattern on growth, components, canopy light interception, dry matter accumulation. We also analyzed photosynthetic rate, accumulation, different densities distribution. A two year experiment was conducted during 2018 2019 seasons. Two (1.8 × 105 2.7 ha?1) patterns (uniform non-uniform spacing) were tested. Higher significantly increased interception accumulation leading productivity. The seed higher 22.8% than density.
